      We print Event Banners on roll widths up to 2000mm. More sizeable banners are printed on premium banner material at widths up to 5m. Banners larger than 5m in one direction are bonded together using a high-frequency welding process.

      The main difference here is the quality of the banner material. It is stronger and will last longer, printed on roll widths up to 5 metres.

      We use 650gsm banner material for our double-sided banners. 650 gsm is a heavy-duty material, and it’s used for:

      Robust single-sided banners, as well as double-sided PVC banners.

      If you see lamp post banners, then its highly likely 650 gsm block banner material has been used to manufacture this type of banner. Double-sided banner material has a block out liner which prevents light show-through.

      Mesh Event Banners

      Larger and more exposed banners will act as a giant sail when the wind hits. The wind can rip the banner from its fixings or cause damage to the structure it is affixed. Mesh PVC banners and printed Fabric materials benefit from lots of small holes which can let the air pass through the printed face. The added airflow reduced wind loading.

      Fabric Event Banners

      We offer a wide range of polyester and cotton based fabrics suitable for internal and external banners. Fabric material benefits from looking better, being much lighter (from 115gsm), and being more environmentally-friendly. Fabrics are printed using our dye-sublimation process, which produces stunning rich hues and vibrant, eye-popping colours.

       

      Design Guide for Event Banners Printing

      Set your dimensions correctly

      Please set your artwork to the correct proportions of your final printed event banner. We do not require any bleed on the artwork for an event banner. If necessary, you can set your artwork to scale.

      Set the correct CMYK colour settings

      Please make sure that you set your colour settings to CMYK. Our UV printers use a full-colour printing process that works using CMYK inks. Files that are sent to use using an RGB setup will be changed automatically. Sometimes this can make the colours on your printed banner seem weak & washed out. We will check for this before printing and contact you if required.

      Position of eyelets on your Printed Event Banners

      Please leave a clear area approx 50mm inside the outside of the banner. Background images and colours are ok. Please ensure that no essential text elements, small print or logos are in the eyelets’ safe area. It is not advised to have just eye holes (without the hem) as this can cause the material to rip.

      We space our eyelets approx every 500mm apart unless otherwise stated. Eyelets will be evenly spaced so eyelet spacing might vary slightly on different sizes of banners.

      Event Banners Design Principles

      Before creating your design, it’s important to consider the viewing distance. It’s best to create your artwork to give the highest possible impact. Contrasting colours will give your banner much more clout than washed out subtle colours.

      Also, think about text sizes. The larger the text, the easier you will see it from a distance. Use upper and lower fonts. Look at road signs as they are all in upper and lower type rather than all capitals. Subconsciously your eyes will read upper and lower (sentence case) — font type. Usually, clearer fonts work better than stripey unreadable fonts. Look at most leading brands, i.e. McDonald’s, IKEA, B&Q, Dominos Pizza – all these companies use very readable fonts and typefaces.

      Less is more, cramming every little bit of information onto your banner probably isn’t a good idea. Remember to use space and give your design space to breathe. Firstly when your job comes in, we check all your uploaded files and cross-reference each file against your order. At this point, if we see that artwork is incorrect or if there is a file missing we will contact you to request new artwork. Most of our banners and fabrics are manufactured at our large print factory in Europe. Our standard turnaround on items is 5-6 working days for delivery. Even though most of our ordering system has been automated, we still carry out several manual checks before processing your order. If at any point we have a question or a problem with your order you will be contacted before manufacturing.

      Our processes

      Please read the information below on how your order is processed. Each order goes through several checks before printing. Our file checking service is standard procedure on all orders. Checking your files means that you can place your order in confidence, knowing that we will check to make sure your order and corresponding artwork match and are correct. Anything we are not sure that we will contact you before proceeding.

      What is Our Initial checking service?

      When you place an online order, we will cross-reference your artwork against your order. At this point, we will check that the artwork sizes and file type match the order. We will make sure we have the correct number of artwork files for the job. At this stage, if anything appears to be incorrect, we will place the order on hold and contact you immediately.

      How do we process your order?

      Once we are happy with your order, we will then process it. We collate all the information for each job, including finishing and material type. The job information is then sent with your artwork to the pre-press department. Pre-press is where we will create and prepare your job for printing.

      Our Pre Press and second checking service.

      Pre-press refers to the stage before printing. Here your artwork is converted into the correct format for our machines and finishing processes. At this point, if something is spotted which isn’t correct or if there is a problem we will again contact you.

      How do we print and track your order through the factory?

      Your job is now batched together with other items on the same material. Each item has assigned to it a unique code. The code is used to track the order through our factory. The information is used to check the material, quantity and finishing information on the item. The order then goes through our print presses.

      How do we finish your printed items?

      Every job we produce is different to the next, whether it be size, material, shape or finishing. Your printed items will be finished as requested on your order. We automate as much of the finishing as possible, cutting down on labour costs and passing on the savings to you. The Prepress data is inputted into parts of our finishing equipment. Your graphics are now finished to your custom requirements. Each printed product is set up differently for each type of finishing process. A banner that has hem and eyelets will be manufactured and produced in a different way to a flag with a pole pocket.

      How are your items packed?

      We have now manufactured your items. The finishing pieces now move onto the packing department. At the packing stage, we collate your order. Items get checked off against the order using the order code system. The printed goods get wrapped and packed, ready for despatch.

      How do you ship my goods?

      Now your item has been packed it is ready to be shipped. From placing your order, your goods have taken approx 24-48 hours to get to this stage. The fast turnaround service is expensive on low-value bulky orders and is more cost-effective on higher volume jobs. Items to the US and other worldwide destinations will take longer to be delivered. For items going to Ireland, the Isle of Wight, Isle of Man, Scottish highlands etc. please add an extra day onto delivery times.

      9. What is the difference between event banner and premium Event Banners?

      Ans: Event banner is a laminated material which is cheaper to manufacture. Premium banner is a coated product which is much stronger and more suitable for longer term outside applications.

      10. How long can this product last outside?

      Ans: Up to 6 months outdoor life expectancy. Remember banners are only as good as they are fitted. If tightly attached to a wall it could last longer if in a sheltered area. For example if loosely attached to railings wind will move the banner and friction on the railing will cause the material to fray. The tighter the banner is fixed the less likely it is to get damaged.

      11. Do you charge for hem and eyelets or pole pockets?

      Ans: No. Standard finishing is included in the cost. Specialist finishing could be charged additionally.

      12. What is the specification of your eyelets?

      Ans: Our eyelets are nickel plated. The centre hole has a diameter of 12mm and our eyelets are positioned approx every 500mm apart unless otherwise stated.

      13. Can you ship banners around the world?

      Ans: Yes we ship worldwide. Please email us your requirements for a quote.

      14. What material is your event banners?

      Our event banner is manufactured from a 510gsm PVC laminated material. The material is more cost effective than our premium banners and is ideal for short to mid term usage. Still high quality, other suppliers online actually describe it as their ‘premium’ banner.

      Ans: Yes we can manufacture your banner with pole pockets if required.

      16. Can I have a Event Banners larger than 2m in any one dimension?

      Ans: Yes we can manufacture a banner larger than 2m in one dimension only. One length has to be under 2m due to the material roll width. For larger banners you will need our PVC Premium Banner.

      17. Is the print quality the same as your premium banners?

      Ans: Yes the print quality is the same as our premium banners.

      18. Can you send me a sample?

      19. Can I use the banners more than once, i.e. for future events if stored away?

      Ans: Yes they can be used on more than one event providing they are stored correctly when not in use. Rolled up in a dry location in between events. For examaple if you have an annual event there is no reason why you shouldn’t get a few years use if they are only used short periods at a time and don’t get damaged.

      20. I want to order multiple banner of different sizes, How do I do this without incurring minimum order charge for each size banner?

      Ans: There are 2 ways in which this can be done.

      1. Add up the total sq metres of all you banners. For example if this comes to 50sqm then simply order x1 banner at 50m x 1m as this is 50 sqm and you will be charged the correct price. Then write a total breakdown in the additional instructions box of how many of each banner is required.

      2. Email us with a breakdown of what you want to order along with the artwork and your billing & shipping address. One of our sales team will then email a quote back to you. on approval of this quote a pro forma invoice will be issued.

      21. Do you offer the same finishing options as the Premium Event Banners?

      Ans: We offer all the same standard finishing as the Premium PVC. However there is no option for the optional reinforced extras as this is a low cost short term product. We recommend opting for Premium PVC if you require something stronger with reinforced hem or reinforced stitched pocket for longer term use.

      ASAP CANOPY offers each product's best packaging with excellent security and quick delivery. If the product is damaged or there is any problem, you must contact us before further action. When you receive your package, examine your product instantly after the delivery. If there are any product-related issues, let us know because we aim to deal with the consequences as soon as possible with the best possible solutions. We deliver packages in 3 to 9 business days after the payment. When we send you the package from our depository, you will receive an email and confirmation along with the tracking order number.

       

      Refunds, Exchanges, and Return policy

      ASAP CANOPY offers 30 days of refunds, exchange, and return policy on any stock other than non-custom products after the transportation date. The customers have to pay the charges for the shipping and return trade-offs. If the inventory is unopened, unused, and still in its new packaging, it can be returned and exchanged. Customers should note that we do not send extra boxes for the repackaging of the products while sending them back to us. We are not responsible for the customer's mistakes while making their online orders, and we do not cater to the order requests after 30 days of the shipment date.

      In order to trade-off or return any products, read the following policies. If your requirements and necessities are up to the mark, you can contact our customer service department and get your Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. The RMA Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number should be placed outside the returning packages. Moreover, the original or photocopy of the receipt and packaging slip should also include return packaging. We will not cater to return packages without the Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Trade-offs and returns should ensure that the inventory purchased from the custom tent with the logo within 30 days after the shipment date. We will replace or repair the package, then dispatch it to the customers, and customers have to pay the shipment and returning charges. Costs will be upon the customers.

       

      Returns or Exchanges

      In order to meet all the return requirements, the stock should be unused, new, in good condition with the warranty manuals and accessories, including the packaging as well. The consumer is accountable for the return shipping charges. The returned products should be purchased from ASAP CANOPY from the first 30 days of the first shipment date. We recommend that return stock should use tracking abilities for ease and convenience. We need 6-7 business days to proceed with the return stocks upon the receipt or slip.

      Moreover, we need to review all the return packages by our customer care service department before any refunds or credits are printed. If the customer care services do not pass the inventory, it will be shipped back to the customer without issuing credit with the delivery cost. Whereas, if the inventory stock is passed, it will be shipped to the customer, and we will also pay back the customer at the buy cost of the merchandise. Additionally, if the customer meets all the return terms and conditions, the credit will be left on the customer for their future purchases.

       

      Refunds

      If a product is non-custom, unopened, non-printed, like new, it might be returned within the first 30 days of shipment for a refund. It will consist of 15% of the restocking fee, and it will have less invoice shipping cost as well. The RMA number should be correct, and our customer service division will organize it.

      If the product is harmed, damaged, missing, or not in good condition, it will not be returned, refunded, or traded off. The customer is responsible for the shipment cost.
