CHICAGO — Informa’s OFFPRICE and the International Fashion Jewelry and Accessory Group (IFJAG) show will collaborate for October Orlando Market. The collaboration will offer retailers and vendors greater opportunities and value for attending the events.
OFFPRICE Orlando Market will be held at the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC), and with the IFJAG show being held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Orlando Oct. 16-18, attendees will only have a five-minute drive between the trade shows.
For the collaboration, the two trade shows will engage in cross-promotion by promoting each other’s events through all their respective marketing channels, including social media, websites, email newsletters and printed materials. The trade shows also have shared marketing materials, such as collaborative posters and advertising, that highlight the benefits of attending each show.
“The decision to create a regional trade show in Orlando, such as OFFPRICE, was based on a careful assessment of market demand and feedback from industry stakeholders,” Tricia Barglof, Executive Director of OFFPRICE, said. “We conducted a thorough market survey to understand the specific needs and preferences of retailers, including surveys, focus groups and analyses of purchasing trends. The decision to launch a regional show was also influenced by the support of vendors wanting to reach a broader audience in the Southeastern U.S., Caribbean and Latin America.”

OFFPRICE will feature more than 50 exhibitors at the OCCC on Oct. 17 and 18, and offer educational sessions, hosted lunches and a cocktail party on opening day. The educational component of the Orlando show will include 30-minute sessions on a variety of industry topics, including adding off-price into an inventory mix, sourcing strategies and inventory management.
The IFJAG show, which will have more than 70 exhibitors displaying their products, offers attendance perks, including free daily lunch buffets and ride reimbursement from hotels in the area to the show.
“Orlando offers amenities not offered in Vegas due to the regional preferences and opportunities. We wanted to make sure the attendees were comfortable and got as much as possible out of attending. This approach ensures that attendees have a more customized and relevant experience, making the Orlando show distinctive and appealing for its target audience,” Barglof said.
By collaborating, the two shows can offer their attendees more networking opportunities and diverse product offerings. It also benefits the shows themselves by increasing their visibility and reputation, which attracts a more diverse audience.
“Working together with IFJAG is a mutually beneficial partnership to all involved,” Barglof said. “The collaboration opens doors for attendees and exhibitors to connect with a broader range of potential partnerships, suppliers and customers. For exhibitors, it streamlines the process of reaching multiple target markets in locations in close proximity, reducing time and resources required to participate in both events. The distinctiveness of the collaboration is to pique the audience’s interest and help them get more ‘bang for their buck’ in traveling to Orlando.”
